Mandi Hare: 18s

Mandi brings diverse competitive experience to the Flathead Valley. From collegiate coach & player to Ironman triathlete, she loves challenging players to be mentally tough and next point focused. Mandi's experience includes Assistant at Northwestern State University, Varsity coach in Lewiston, Idaho, CBVA beach doubles player, collegiate player, current 18s coach and owner  of Apex

Christy Harkins: 13s

Christy is a pillar in the Flathead volleyball community.  Current Varsity coach at Glacier High School, she built a highly successful program from the ground up.  In her 15 years at Glacier, the Wolfpack went 221-159, placed 3rd at State twice, and won 4 Western AA Conference championships. Christy brings over 30 years of coaching experience with her to Apex.  

Tanja Heuscher: Assistant

Tanja comes to Apex with 20 years and a wide variety of coaching experience. From Rotary, High School, and College assistant at MSU-N, she has been inspired to pay it forward from the coaches that poured into her at a young age.Tanja was a collegiate middle blocker & all around player for MSU-N.  She loves coaching & developing character through the game of volleyball. 

Logan Epperly: 14s

Logan has moved into a head coaching roll this year after being an assistant at Apex for the last 2 years.  She has a wide variety of middle school and high school coaching experience, most recently at Bigfork high school. Logan played recreationally in college where she discovered her passion for developing fundamentals and helping girls understand and love the game. 

Ashley Newell: 16s

Ashley brings 10 years of coaching experience to Apex from the Bozeman/Belgrade area.  She has coached rec, club and high school class A and AA.  She loves working with all ages of athletes on the court as well as off the court as a weightlifting coach.  She enjoys aiding in the physical, mental, and emotional grown of every athlete she coaches. 

Kaylee Fritz: 12s

A Glacier HS alum & soon to be college graduate, Kaylee joins us as our 12s coach. Kaylee has a wealth of volleyball knowledge & experience along with a love & passion for teaching young players.  She is currently a setter at the University of Montana Western where her team is #11 in the nation.  We are excited to have Kaylee teach our players what following your dreams looks like
